Roasted Mullet Fish Roes

Ingredients
Cured mullet fish roe 1/3 lb (150g)
Sorghum wine 1/2 cup
Garlic sprout 1 stalk
Food grade paper towel 1 sheet

Instructions
1.Soak the cured mullet fish roe in water for 15 minutes – the water needs to cover the fish roe.
2.Remove the outer membrane of the fish roe.
3.Use a needle to poke 15 – 20 holes on the surface of the fish roe, then brush with sorghum wine. Turn the fish roe over. Again, poke holes and brush with wine.
4. Wrap the fish roe with a piece of paper towel then place it on a baking pan. Evenly pour the remaining sorghum wine all over the fish roe.
5. Roast in a toast oven over 450˚F(230˚C) until the paper towel is completely dry. Remove the fish roe from the oven.

Cut the garlic sprout into small segments or strips. Thinly slice the fish roe into thin slices then serve with garlic sprout or sliced daikon.

烏魚子1/3 磅 (150克)
高粱酒1/2
蒜苗1
食用級廚房用紙1

做法
1.把烏魚子浸泡在水裡15分鐘,水要蓋過烏魚子。
2.撕去烏魚子的外膜。
3.用針在烏魚子表面插15-20個洞後刷上一層高粱酒。翻面再重複做一遍插洞和刷酒。
4. 將烏魚子用紙巾包起來放進烤盤。再將剩餘的高粱酒均勻地淋在烏魚子上。
5. 放進小烤箱用450˚F(230˚C)烤到紙巾乾透即可取出。

蒜苗切段或切絲。烏魚子切成薄片後佐配蒜苗或白蘿蔔片一起食用。
